AET and Assessor combined (5 day fast-track)
(AET was formerly known as PTLLS; TAQA Assessor Award was formerly known as A1)
The AET is ideal for people wishing to enter teaching or for those working in other environments such as Work Based Learning or the Voluntary Sector. The qualification is on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).
"The tutor was very helpful and the teaching was very inspiring." Fiona Tetenta.
The TAQA Assessor, awarded by City & Guilds, is designed for those in, or looking to go into assessment and internal quality assurance. It replaces the previous Assessor units (which expired in December 2010), and represents the change in approach to assessment and quality assurance practice.

All of the TAQA qualifications require candidates to demonstrate their knowledge of assessment through the mandatory knowledge unit, thus providing a strong basis to develop candidates’ practical evidence.
We use a blended approach to course delivery. As well as class based taught sessions, students will be engaged group activities, complete a micro teach session and will be encouraged to use a range of technology as well as traditional methods to meet the course criteria.
