Institute of Administrative Management (IAM) is perceived by many as an exam board with a fresh and original approach. The course content reflects the exam board’s ethos that information is central to the effective running of any organisation. The lowest level of this course is equivalent to a management and administration NVQ level 4, and is widely recognised as a valuable asset.
The IAM Advanced Diploma (IAM) level 5 supports those already working in, or aspiring to work, in business management positions.
The aim of this qualification is to provide a framework and tools for applying the systems approach to managing systems as an integrative activity. The qualification also allows candidates to consider administration in its wider business and environmental context. It introduces candidates to some of the key concepts of higher-level business discourse.
This qualification is inspired by the MBA (Master’s in Business Administration) model and approaches learning in a practical, applied way. It is for those who aspire for senior level managerial roles in organisations.
